Witham: Father and son arrested after attack in bar

A father and son have been charged after a man was stabbed in the back with glass.
The victim, a man in his 40s, was injured at Bar 68 and Below in Newland Street, Witham at 12.30am yesterday.
The Witham man received hospital treatment for lacerations to his back.
Gerald Jenkins, 51, of Forest Road, Witham, and Gavin Jenkins, 27, of Hatfield Road, Witham, have both been charged with affray and wounding with intent.
They were remanded in police custody to appear before magistrates in Chelmsford tomorrow.
