Braintree: Your chance to become a Lord
2:40pm Friday 27th January 2012

Your chance to become Lord of the Manor is up for grabs at a recession busting price, although it will still set you back nearly five thousand pounds.
The Lordship of Piccots, in Little Saling, is being sold at an asking price of £4,750.
The title, which is currently owned by an anonymous American, was last on sale for £5,500 two years ago.
The historic Lordship of Saling has a long and illustrious history - it was first recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086.
London-based Manorial Auctioneers, who are specialists in the sale of ceremonial titles, are acting as agents for the current owner.
