Witham have to focus on the job in hand
8:50am Friday 3rd February 2012

While Tuesday’s clash against Southend Manor may look like Witham Town’s next big hurdle on their way to the Essex Senior League title, manager Garry Kimble is focusing on something more imminent.
Kimble will only worry about the return fixture against Southend once his team have cleared the hurdle of facing Barkingside at Spa Road tomorrow.
This weekend’s league fixture will come hot on the heels of an Essex Senior League Cup quarter-final clash between the same two teams, that Witham won 3-1, and the Town boss doesn’t want his players to lose their focus of what’s important now.
He said: “Southend on Tuesday is going to be another big game, but that’s not the one I’m looking at.
“The biggest game for me now is Barkingside tomorrow.
“Getting three points out of that game is my main aim and only then do we move on to the next one.
“We just have to take it one at a time.”
Kimble said he has no injury concerns ahead of the game.
