Braintree Town's game is an early casualty of the winter chill
9:43am Friday 10th February 2012

Braintree Town's Blue Square Bet Premier game against Southport has fallen victim to the Siberian chill.
The Iron announced that the match would be postponed after an early pitch inspection on Friday morning.
Several inches of snow still cover the Amlin Stadium pitch and, with temperatures set to plunge once again on Friday night, the decision was taken that the surface wouldn't be ready for a game this weekend.
Braintree's next scheduled game is now their Blue Square Bet Premier trip to Lincoln City on Tuesday.
